The mountains are springing to new life with lush landscapes, colorful blossoms, migratory birds, and other wildlife. Pine trees are sprouting new shades of green, the skies are deep blue and the wildflowers are absolutely brilliant! Big Bear Lake is the west coast version of Colorado Springs. It has the same feel as the Rocky Mountains without the high cost of airfare. In fact Big Bear is in close proximity to Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego and Palm Springs.
